Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State joined fellow Northern governors today at the Northern States Governors’ Forum in Kaduna, convened by Governor Uba Sani. The high-level meeting included traditional leaders led by the Sultan of Sokoto and was chaired by Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State.
The forum addressed critical issues affecting the Northern region, including insecurity and widespread power outages. In his remarks, Governor Fintiri emphasized the importance of a collaborative approach in tackling these challenges, stating, “We are committed to finding joint solutions that will bring lasting stability, enhance security, and improve infrastructure for our people across the North.”
The gathering underscored the resolve of Northern leaders to work closely with traditional authorities and other stakeholders to create sustainable solutions that will strengthen the region. The Northern States Governors’ Forum remains dedicated to fostering policies and initiatives aimed at driving growth and ensuring safety and development across the region.
